Background and Goal: This study was conducted with the aim of examining the relationship between organizational culture and job satisfaction in higher education institutions in Babol.
Materials and Methods: The method of this study was correlation-description; The Statistical population under study was consisted of all 483 full-time faculty members of all higher education institutions in Babol. Stratified random sampling was selected for 243 people. Data were collected by questionnaire. Data analysis was performed by the use of descriptive statistics (percentage and frequency and average) and inferential statistics (Pearson correlation and regression).
Discussion and Conclusion: this study showed that all four types of organizational culture according to Denison model have meaningful relationship with job satisfaction; in which the mission culture have the highest correlation with job satisfaction, and adaptability culture have the lowest correlation. The regression analysis has shown that the best predictor of job satisfaction is a mission culture and the culture of job involvement after mission culture is a better predictor mission, but integrity culture and adaptability culture have less role in predicting adjustment.
