Survey of management duties application extent of the nursing Service managers in sari hospitals

This research is a measurement one done to analyze the management duties application extent (level) by the managers of nursing services in sari – based hospitals in 1388. The statistical community of this study includes all supervisors (36persons) that working in public & private of sari hospitals. Data were gathered by prepared questionnaire organized to achieve the research goal. To describe from mean, average, mod, frequency and frequency percentage, accumulation frequency and its percentage were used and to analyze data Kruskal – Wallis, U Mann Whitney, and Binomial tests were used.
Study results regarding the application of nursing services managers’ management duties indicate that planning duty 93%, organizing duty 93%, leading & directing duty 83% and control duty 91% were applied.
There has been no meaningful difference supervisor's assessment & self- assessment while there has been meaningful difference between coworkers & self-assessment and manager's subordinates’ assessment. There has been no significant difference in managers' duties such as planning, organizing, directing & leading in private & public hospitals else in their control duty. |
